Reach for a Dream hosts Queen for a Day [Pretoria Event Photographer]

There is no better way to spent a Saturday then photographing a Reach for a Dream Function. Especially if it is a Queen for a Day Function.

The girls had a lovely time and I am sure they will remember this day for ever.

As usual, a couple of lovely people and organisations sponsored gifts, services and their time: Featherbrooke Children, Protea Hotel Hatfield, Jimnettes and Snr Queen of Africa – Angelica Nortjé.

Just a few of the highlights.  Al the images can be viewed under the client proofs.

Corporate Portraits [Pretoria Photographer]

We have been rather busy at the studio and we don’t always get the time to post the smaller photo shoots that we do.  Here are just a few of the most recent corporate headshots we did:

Emirates Portraits [Pretoria Photographer]

Emirates Airlines are rather strict and precise with their application process.  Images of applicants must be taken with the whole body facing forward, black jacket and knee length skirt, pantihose, formal shoes, hair neatly tied back and red lipstick.

Here are a few portraits that I shot recently.

Reach for a Dream / SAPS / Hi-Risk – Madiba Day [Pretoria Event Photographer]

This past weekend Reach for a Dream, SAPS and Hi-risk combined forces to create a fun filled day for the children for Mandela Day 2016.

The Reach for a Dream Team asked me again to photograph the event for them and of course I agreed.

It was a lovely winters day full of smiling children’s faces.

I have tried to limit the amount of photos on the blog, but with a day full of so much entertainment it was impossible to narrow the moments down to just a few.  So bare with me.  All the images can be viewed under the client proofs.

Slippy and the clown from the SAPS entertained the children.  Please remember to support Slipper Day by purchasing a ticket from Wimpy.  You can get more info on the Slipper Day website.

Adam Tas was there to entertain young and old and to just get everybody in the right mood for the show to follow.  He was accompanied on electrical guitar by Wouter from the SAPS.

How cute are the 4 month old puppies from the K9 unit.

For the main event SAPS Brooklyn and Garsfontein as well as Hi-Risk presented an awesome show.  It was a simulated Rhino Poaching complete with bad guys, helicopters, K9 unit and more.

My heart almost stopped when I saw the helicopter making its appearance behind the trees with a dog and a man hanging out the door.  The next moment they proceeded to ab-sail down to the ground where they apprehended a “poacher”.
