I have know the van Rooyen Family for such a long time. Even before they became the Van Rooyen Family. It is always lovely to be able to watch a family become a family and grow.

I just had to include this image. Imke and Mignon co-ordinated this one with toys and I thought it was just so cute that they had their own ideas and were willing to share them.
Cuen and his sister Zaylee are regulars here at the studio. But this time the focus was on Cuen. He is going to Grade 1 next year and he has also lost his front tooth. All memorable moments that must be remembered as our kiddos grow up in the blink of an eye.

This was my second time photographing the Prinsloo Family. Little Janco has grown so much in one year. He is walking, or rather running around, and has become a real little chatterbox. Luckily I am fluent in baby gibberish.

A few Fridays ago I had a wonderful photo shoot in the garden of one of my regular clients. Their garden still looks lovely and green for this time of the year. The kids are familiar with the environment and was completely relaxed. The weather was lovely and everyone involved was chirpy and ready for the photo shoot.
I loved this photo shoot because so many people were involved. We created memories that would last a lifetime. Moments captured in time.

When you are faced with the challenge of photographing a family of twelve, which include 4 small children, you can’t help but be a little scared. So many people to choreograph and so many kiddies that needs to smile for an hour long. Loads of opportunities to slip up. Luckily for me everyone was on time and chirpy, even though the weather was not to pleasant. Even the children gave their full co-operation. In fact they where dream kids!!

Mandy is an old school friend of mine. She brought her very sweet boy Kyle, and mom for a fun family photo shoot.
